At VintageMoonBaby, we love vintage clothes and accessories as much as you love wearing them. We are so thrilled to be able to bring you our collection of vintage threads from the 1930s through 1980s era. Sure, we can buy every vintage thing we come across, but we won't waste our and yours time doing that. We scour just about everywhere looking for that top quality, rare or unique item. We don't have pages and pages of stuff you wouldn't even take a second look at! All the things you want are right at your fingertips. We love all era's and we just couldn't settle on one decade because we love them all! And we could never just pass up a gorgeous silk Leonard dress!
My name is Susan and I started selling on the web about 6 years ago on a worldwide popular site selling handmade chenille baby blankets. With a lot of work and a little appreciation I found a treasure box of Grandma's inherited costume jewelry and went to work deciphering what's what. An M&M Bakelite bracelet was among the treasure trove, and from that point on, I was hooked on vintage! I scoured thrift shops and estate sales and found it so exciting, that my natural course was to continue on this road to be my own boss and to “do what you love.”
Six years later, here we are, still enjoying the hunt for all things vintage. I have over 20 years in the retail business, selling everything from lingerie to sofas and, of course, clothing at two of Southern California's high end department stores. Also, with customer service as a requirement, it also comes naturally to treat everyone as I would want to be treated. Our customer service level is high above expectations, as you will find.
I also have a interest in natural healing with Gods natural organic remedies. Healing the body without prescription drugs with no side effects is common sense for everyone. I'm always researching about the wonderments of common everyday kitchen cupboard products we can use to rid our bodies of ailments instead of just covering it up with a pop of a pill. Healing your body and preventing illness for a happier, healthier life sounds pretty good to me!

We try and bring you fresh items several times a week as we have a massive inventory just waitng to be seen. We won't put on our pages just for the sake of being vintage that has no value to anyone. About Buying Vintage
All vintage clothing is well . . . old. But you'd be surprised that some vintage fabrics hold up over time as well as how well people take care of each item. But, we're speculating that most items were in the dark depths of closets everywhere and forgotten until it was time for it to see the light of day! So most items we find are well preserved and untouched. All they need is a little TLC to be refreshed like new!
We don't buy vintage just for the sake of being vintage. Mind you, there are a lot of ugly, plain vintage things out there and we just pass them up looking for the next find! So the items we choose are hand selected for condition, style, quality of the item, color, and label. If there a few minor flaws, we take note. They are easily fixable, if not by us, by our favored local dry cleaner, who knows us for what we do and is extra careful about what we bring in. We will note all flaws, such as minor pilling under arms, light discoloration, sticky zipper, etc.
We won't send anything out that you buy only to open your awaited package and be disappointed by holding up something you didn't see in the description. Do we make mistakes? Sure we do. We're not claiming to be perfect, but once in a blue moon we do. We take responsibility for it too! Just e-mail us and explain what it was that we made a mistake and we will decide from there what you can expect from us.
Also be aware that the color on all monitors may vary. We will describe out colors too so that you are not relying only on the monitor. We won't accept returns on color issues. There are varying ranges of taupe. Some taupe's have a gray tone, some have a brown tone, we will note that in the description.
